The Trigg County Wildcats football team (Cadiz, KY), was beaten 51-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY)

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Daviess County achieved victory over Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY), 34-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Union County for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 29.
