The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) and the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ), observed Hanover Park's football squad edge Mountain Lakes by a count of 14-7.

The Hornets now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Caldwell for a Super - American Gold contest on Friday, September 29. Hanover Park will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 21-14 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Lakers encounter the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a Super - American Gold contest, on Friday, September 29. Mountain Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
