    The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains thwarted the visiting Margaretta Polar Bears football team by a count of 26-14 in Friday's league outing.

    With the win, Hopewell-Loudon upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Willard (Willard, OH) to encounter the Crimson Flashes in a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Friday, September 29. The Crimson Flashes go into the outing with a record of 4-2.

    With the loss, Margaretta moves to 3-3 on the season. The Polar bears travel to Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to encounter the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Friday, September 29. The Senecas go into the outing with a record of 5-0. Calvert won 42-25 in their recent league outing against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
