Mississippi High School Football - Houston topples New Hope

The Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) football defeated the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 34-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Friday, September 29. Houston will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Noxubee County (Macon, MS).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Columbus was toppled by Ripley (Ripley, MS), 30-22, in a non-league bout.
