The Philomath Warriors football team (Philomath, OR), was tipped 20-17 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR)
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Marshfield nipped Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR), 42-20, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stayton for a 4A Special District 3 challenge on Friday, September 29. Philomath will meet a Eagles team coming off a 38-0 league loss to Marist (Eugene, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
