The Sperry Pirates football team (Sperry, OK), was beaten 26-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK)
The Comets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris (Morris, OK). The Eagles come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Morris was beaten by Kiefer (Kiefer, OK), 30-12, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kiefer for a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, September 29. Sperry will meet a Trojans team coming off a 30-12 league win over Morris (Morris, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
