In Friday's league game, the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) football team knocked off the visiting Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA), by a final score of 23-14.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Decatur (Federal Way, WA). The Golden Gators come into the 4A North Puget Sound game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Decatur was dropped by Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA), 30-6, in a league game.
The Conquerors now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Rainier for a 4A North Puget Sound game on Friday, September 29. Kentwood will battle a Rams team coming off a 41-14 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, WA). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.
