The Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) football routed the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL), 44-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Bullets clash with the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) in a Lincoln Trail-Prairieland - Large bout, on Friday, September 29. Knoxville will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 46-6 league win over Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Lewistown, IL).
