New Jersey High School Football - Marlboro topples Lacey Township

September 22, 2023: Marlboro, NJ 07723

The Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) football defeated the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 21-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Marlboro will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 40-26 league loss to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).

The Lions (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Central Regional was toppled by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 7-0, in a league bout.
