California High School Football - Ripon can't get by Liberty Ranch

September 22, 2023: Ripon, CA 95366

Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team hold off the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), 14-13 in a non-league game.

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their game against El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Cougars come into the Sierra Valley Conference game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, El Dorado nipped Woodland (Woodland, CA), 39-13, in a non-league game.

The Indians now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Modesto Christian for a Trans Valley League game on Friday, September 29. Ripon will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 49-12 non-league loss to Summerville (Tuolumne, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-3.
