    • Illinois High School Football - Lincoln-Way Central sneaks past Sandburg

    The Lincoln-Way Central Knights football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Sandburg Eagles to 14 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.

    The Knights now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolingbrook for a non-league battle on Friday, September 29. Lincoln-Way Central will face a Raiders squad coming off a 38-28 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.

    Coming up next, the Eagles face the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a Southwest Suburban - Blue battle, on Friday, September 29. Sandburg will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 41-13 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
