Texas High School Football - Lone Star nips Wakeland

September 22, 2023: Frisco, TX 75034

In Friday's league test, the visiting Lone Star Rangers football team scored a tight 35-31 triumph over the Wakeland Wolverines.

With the triumph, Lone Star improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to battle the Redhawks in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 test on Thursday, September 28. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 0-5. Liberty lost 58-0 in their recent league test against Reedy (Frisco, TX)

With the loss, Wakeland drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Liberty (Frisco, TX) to battle the Redhawks in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 test on Friday, October 6. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 0-5.
