The Pickens Dragons football team (Jasper, GA), was ripped 49-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA)

The Indians (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves come into the AAA Region 7 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wesleyan trounced Gilmer (Ellijay, GA), 50-28, in a league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Dawson County for a AAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, October 6.
