The Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) football edged the host Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA), 23-16 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Friday, September 29. Northshore will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Green Wave enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 31-12 league win over Covington (Covington, LA).
The Skippers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers enter the 5A District 6 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Slidell was nudged by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 28-7, in a league bout.
