The West Memphis Christian Black Knights walloped the host Marvell Academy Eagles football team by a count of 44-6 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, West Memphis Christian upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Black Knights host North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS) to encounter the Rebels in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 29. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 1-4. North Sunflower Academy lost 58-12 in their recent non-league bout against DeSoto (West Helena, AR)
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS). The Cougars enter the MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) bout with a 4-1 record.
