The Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) football defeated the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), 17-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) in a Dakota 12 bout, on Friday, September 29. Tri-Valley will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 32-28 league win over Canton (Canton, SD).
The Titans (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Red Raiders enter the Freelance bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Wagner defeated Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD), 50-0, in a league bout.
