The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors football team (Lanham, MD), was beaten 31-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host St. Michael the Archangel Warriors (Fredericksburg, VA)

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Flint Hill achieved victory over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 32-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Life Christian Academy for a VISAA Freelance challenge on Friday, September 29. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 41-3 non-league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
