The Paris Wildcats football team (Paris, TX), was ripped 45-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX)

The Hawks (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Buckeyes come into the 4A-2 Region II District 7 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Gilmer trounced Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 82-62, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kaufman for a 4A-1 Region II District 8 challenge on Friday, October 6. Paris will meet a Lions team coming off a 32-28 non-league win over Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
