Texas High School Football - Slaton succumbs to Post

The Post Antelopes thwarted the visiting Slaton Tigers football team by a count of 32-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Post upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Antelopes travel to Olton (Olton, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A-1 Region I District 2 outing on Friday, October 6. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-1.

With the loss, Slaton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Tigers host Friona (Friona, TX) to clash with the Chieftans in a non-league match on Friday, September 29. The Chieftans enter the match with a record of 1-3. Friona won 35-27 in their recent non-league match against Farwell (Farwell, TX)
