Louisiana High School Football - Tallulah Academy sneaks past Prairie View Academy

September 22, 2023: Bastrop, LA 71220

The Tallulah Academy Trojans (Tallulah, LA) football edged the host Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA), 48-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Sharkey Issaquena Academy Confederates (Rolling Fork, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Tallulah Academy will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Confederates enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 64-46 league win over Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA).

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS). The Crusaders enter the MAIS 8-Man 2A District 3 (8 Man) bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Park Place Christian Academy nudged Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS), 29-21, in a non-league bout.
