The St. Francis Mariners football team (St. Francis, WI), was beaten 28-3 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Racine Lutheran Crusaders (Racine, WI)

The Crusaders (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI). The Knights come into the Midwest Classic challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Dominican was beaten by Living Word Lutheran (Jackson, WI), 45-14, in a league challenge.

The Mariners now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookfield Academy for a Midwest Classic challenge on Friday, September 29. St. Francis will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 35-13 league win over Kenosha Christian Life (Kenosha, WI). The Blue Knights record now stands at 4-2.
