The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, NJ) and the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ), observed Ramsey's football squad defeat Ridgefield Park by a count of 34-20.

The Rams now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Westwood for a Super - American Red contest on Friday, September 29. Ramsey will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 35-0 league win over Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.

Coming up next, the Scarlets encounter the Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) in a Super - American Red contest, on Friday, September 29. Ridgefield Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
