In Friday's league game, the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA), by a final score of 18-6.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames come into the WPIAL A Big 7 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Northgate toppled Summit Academy (Herman, PA), 28-20, in a league game.
The Rams now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Laurel for a WPIAL A Big 7 game on Friday, September 29. Rochester will battle a Spartan team coming off a 33-14 league loss to Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Spartan record now stands at 1-4.
