The South Harrison Hawks football squad scored 16 points and restricted the host Webster County Highlanders to 8 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 29. South Harrison will face a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 36-30 non-league loss to Beallsville (Beallsville, OH). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Highlanders face the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) in a Little Kanawha battle, on Friday, October 6. Webster County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
