St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the host Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), 42-8 in a league test.

With the win, St. Bede improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bruins host Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Chicagoland Prairie test on Saturday, September 30. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-5. Elmwood Park lost 21-14 in their recent non-league test against Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington (Dwight, IL)

With the loss, Westmont moves to 1-4 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington (Dwight, IL) to confront the Trojans in a Chicagoland Prairie test on Friday, September 29.
