The University School of Jackson Bruins walloped the visiting St. George's Gryphons football team by a final score of 40-7 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, University School of Jackson improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS) to confront the Trojans in a Division II-AA West outing on Friday, September 29. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Northpoint Christian won 38-0 in their recent league outing against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN)
With the loss, St. George's moves to 1-5 on the season. The Gryphons host Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN) to confront the Lynx in a Division II-AA West outing on Friday, September 29. The Lynx go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Lausanne Collegiate won 49-14 in their recent non-league outing against Memphis Business Academy (Memphis, TN)
