The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL), saw DePaul College Prep's volleyball squad beat Payton College Prep by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, DePaul College Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Rams host De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to play the Meteors in a bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 11-9.

The Grizzlies now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lane Tech for a bout on Tuesday, September 26. Payton College Prep will play a Lane Tech squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 9-12.
