Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Sturgis East edged by Nantucket

The Nantucket Whalers held off the host Sturgis East Storm volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Whalers now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dennis-Yarmouth Regional for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 27. Nantucket will confront a Dolphins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Dolphins record now stands at 2-1.
The Storm (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Monomoy held off St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
