The Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) softball routed the host Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), 14-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Dragons go into the A District bout with a 23-1 record. In their last bout, Gretna toppled Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 6-0, in a league bout.
The Bears now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gretna East for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Bryan will confront a Griffins squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Benson (Omaha, NE). The Griffins record now stands at 14-11.
