Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Fair Play Hornets (Fair Play, MO) and the host Central Bulldogs (Springfield, MO), witnessed Fair Play's softball squad prevail over Central by a count of 20-3.
The Hornets now sport a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Montrose for a non-league match on Friday, September 22. Fair Play will meet a Blue Jays squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO). The Blue Jays record now stands at 10-5.
