The Avery Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Harts Bluff Bulldogs to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a non-league game on Friday, September 29.

The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels enter the 2A Region III District 17 game with a 14-11 record. In their last game, Rivercrest was dropped by Como-Pickton (Como, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
