The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights held off the visiting Bethlehem Academy Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minneota for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 11-1.
The Cardinals (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Ely (Ely, MN). The Timberwolves enter the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Ely was nudged by Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
