The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team (Pinole, CA), went down 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA)

The Titans (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Albany (Albany, CA). The Cougars enter the Tri-County challenge with a 23-8 record. In their last challenge, Albany defeated Bethel (Vallejo, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County challenge, on Monday, September 25. Pinole Valley will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Oilers enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA).
