The Travelers Rest Devildogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs to 0 in the Devildogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Devildogs now have a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philip Simmons for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Travelers Rest will meet a Iron Horses team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hanahan (Hanahan, SC). The Iron Horses record now stands at 22-4.
The Mustangs (16-16) will now prepare for their game against Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Seahawks enter the non-league game with a 6-12 record. In their last game, Hilton Head Island dropped by James Island (Charleston, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
