Kentucky High School Volleyball - Somerset Christian can't hold off Tates Creek

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Tates Creek Commodores volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Somerset Christian Cougars.

The Commodores (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Cooper was edged by Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 22. Somerset Christian will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).
