The Van Nuys Wolves held off the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolves now have a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panorama for a Valley Mission test on Wednesday, September 27. Van Nuys will confront a Pythons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Pythons record now stands at 3-14.
The Vipers (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Triumph Charter was nudged by University (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
