The East Providence Townies football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Barrington Eagles to 13 in the Townies non-league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Townies face the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. East Providence will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Skippers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 21-14 non-league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI).

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.
