Pennsylvania High School Football - Liberty winner over Wilkes-Barre

The Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) football knocked off the host Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 23-13 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Hurricanes now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Liberty will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 18-12 non-league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Wilkes-Barre drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to clash with the Comets in a non-league outing on Monday, October 6. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 4-0.
