Spectators at Monday's non-league bout between the Arete Prep CHARGERS (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Horizon Honors Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), saw Arete Prep's flag football team nip Horizon Honors by a final score of 7-0.

With the win, Arete Prep advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The CHARGERS host Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ) to battle the Trojans in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 25. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Valley Christian won 41-0 in their recent non-league contest against Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ)

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Horizon Honors will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Heroes enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ).
