St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the host Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), 40-7 in a non-league battle.
The North Stars (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave go into the non-league battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, St. Edward walloped Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 41-0, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Thunder now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a test on Wednesday, September 24. Belvidere North will meet a J-Hawks squad coming off a 26-6 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The J-Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
