In their next game, the Wolfpack play the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 29. Great Oak will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Pumas go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 26-8 non-league win over Poly (Riverside, CA).

With the defeat, Murrieta Valley drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Hemet (Hemet, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Hemet won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (Riverside, CA)
