Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings (Cleveland, OH) boosters went home happy Monday as they saw their soccer squad hold off the host Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH), 3-2 in a non-league outing.
The Vikings (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Cornerstone Christian tipped Independence (Independence, OH), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Arcs confront the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 25. Brush will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Dragons enter the outing with a 2-8 record after their 9-0 league loss to Madison (Madison, OH).
