Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), 42-14 in a non-league test.

With the defeat, Cherokee drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Seymour (Seymour, TN) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 29. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Seymour won 35-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN)
