In Monday's non-league game, the Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) football team edged the host Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE), by a tally of 27-22.
In their next game, the Friars battle the Haverford School Fords (Haverford, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 29. Malvern Prep will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
The Sallies (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Appoquinimink was edged by Howard (Wilmington, DE), 30-12, in a non-league game.
