Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, East Davidson by Davie County (Mocksville, NC), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 24. East Forsyth will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
