The Meridian Warriors soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Capital Golden Eagles to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Monday.

The Warriors now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Kuna for a 6A Southern Idaho game on Wednesday, September 24. Meridian will face a Kavemen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Timberline (Boise, ID). The Kavemen record now stands at 2-10.

The Golden Eagles (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Ridgevue (Nampa, ID). The Warhawks enter the 6A Southern Idaho game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Ridgevue was overwhelmed by Boise (Boise, ID), 3-2, in a league game.
