In Monday's league contest, the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) soccer team edged the host Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Jaguars face the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD).
The Coyotes (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A - West challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Poolesville was nudged by Northwest (Germantown, MD), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
