Indiana High School Soccer - DeKalb nudges Norwell

Fans at Monday's league battle between the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) and the host Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), saw DeKalb's soccer squad hold off Norwell by a count of 1-0.

The Barons (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Wayne North Side (Fort Wayne, IN). The Legends enter the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Fort Wayne North Side nipped Angola (Angola, IN), 2-1, in a non-league match.

The Knights now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. Norwell will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league win over Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.
