North East Carolina Prep Huskies (Tarboro, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins (Elizabeth City, NC), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Huskies (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Bruins go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Beddingfield was edged by Princeton (Princeton, NC), 6-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Griffins play the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 4-2 non-league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC).
