St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, St. Francis moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI) to clash with the Elks in a Lake Michigan test on Tuesday, September 23. The Elks come into the test with a record of 12-2. Elk Rapids won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI)

The Panthers now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gladwin for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24.
